Tropical Storm Isaac

Thursday, August 30th

Most of the effects of Isaac are ending along in the Florida Panhandle! It’s currently mostly cloudy with the sun peeking through the clouds, winds 10-15 mph, light rain.

Wednesday, August 29th 11:AM

Hurricane Isaac swung through Panama City Beach earlier this week dropping just enough rain to keep tropical landscaping looking lush for Labor Day holiday visitors to Laketown Wharf in Panama City Beach.  The area experienced a little beach erosion along Florida’s Coastlines, but the impact to holiday travelers will not be in evidence by the weekend.  The sun is already shining bright in Panama City Beach!

It’s currently sunny, winds 15-20 mph, no rain.

Updated on Tuesday, August 28th, 9AM:

Currently partly cloudy, winds 10-15 mph with minor gusts to 25, no rain. No beach erosion is expected and we are seeing none as of right now.
