Schooners, The Last Local Beach Club, will host the 24th Annual Lobster Festival & Tournament again this year: the biggest 4-Day lobster festival in Florida. With huge Local Lobsters on the weigh-in scales, fresh lobster prepared every mouth-watering way you can imagine, and the 14th Annual Schooners Sand Sculpting Contest, it is a HUGE event that draws thousands of divers and lobster fans from all over the Southeast. Lobster Tournament divers will be competing in a variety of categories including Spiny Lobster, Shovelnose Lobster and Big 6. It will be held September 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23, 2013.
Saturday and Sunday markets on both sides of the Grand Lagoon Bridge at Capt Anderson’s Restaurant and Pirate’s Cove Marina. Saturdays 8am to 1pm, Sundays 11am to 4pm. RAIN or SHINE! A full lineup of award-winning artists are ready to hit the stage at the Gulf Coast’s annual Seabreeze Jazz Festival. Aaron Bessant Park sets the stage for a jazzy, all-star weekend, which is expected to draw music lovers near and far.
Named “Top 10 Jazz Festival in the USA” by JazzIZ Magazine and recently nominated as “Best Jazz Festival” at the Oasis Smooth Jazz Awards, The Seabreeze Jazz Festival combines the top national smooth jazz artists with a full weekend of fun, sun, great beaches, and good times– all on the west end of Panama City Beach.
